From time to time students may have difficulty dealing with the pressures of school and life in general. The counseling staff may offer a different perspective, and may help with developing new strategies and solutions.
There are a range of counseling services available to all students and families at SSIS which include; Individual Counseling, Information, Referral and Consultation.

You may request an appointment by sending an email, or putting a note in the confidential box outside of the counselors’ office, leaving a message on the counselors’ voice mail, or asking your child’s teacher to contact the counselors. Urgent matters may be discussed without an appointment on a first-come, first-served basis during school hours. In such cases the counselors will make every effort to be available.
