The ‘SSIS Sports & Recreation Programme’ is designed to offer a wide range of programs, in order to meet the needs of as many children as possible.

This program will run in three 10-week sessions. It is necessary to sign up for each session. Each session will have its own brochures, so parents and children know which programs are continuing and which new ones are being added. Children can move from one activity to another throughout the course of the year.

In order to be successful, we need not only the students, but we need the adults to volunteer to make this a reality.

As some programs have limited capacity, it will be a first come, first served enrolment. Enrolment for this session opens Thursday, October 11th.

SSIS is a school which believes in offering its students a wide variety of areas of interaction. For example, in the Secondary, our students are already offered the following free activities, through CCAs: Choir , Netball, Persian Dance, American Football/ Basketball, Watercolors/oil painting, Tennis, Knitting, Flavors of the World, MUN, Cricket, Floor Hockey, Art Expression, Table Tennis, Chess, and Ultimate Frisbee.

SSIS is committed to providing a program of Sports and Recreation for not only its students, but to the wider SIP and Suzhou expatriate community. However, programs offered during the week, due to the timing, will only be offered to SSIS students, while all weekend programs will be open to any expatriate child living in SIP, Suzhou, or the surrounding area.
