SSIS students receive outstanding IB results again

Congratulations to the Class of 2016 who received outstanding IB Diploma results.

The average score for the Class of 2016 was 34 out of 45, ensuring SSIS graduates are once again well above the world average.

Maddison Simpson-Treichel received the top score of 42 and another 5 students received a score over 40. 57% received the highest possible score in at least one subject.

The Head of School, Mr Nick Little said, “We are extremely proud of the Class of 2016. Over the past ten years our students have consistently received excellent results. Our outstanding IB Diploma scores always ensure SSIS is one of the best international schools in China.”

Many students have already received acceptances to colleges and universities around the world including the University of British Columbia, University of Hong Kong, New York University, and Boston University. 17 students have received scholarships totaling over US$1 million.
