Last week our Kindergarten students did a wonderful job presenting our Kindergarten Gallery Walk for their Where We Are in Place and Time unit.

Come along and explore what is happening down the Rabbit Hole, follow the adventures of Alice, and all her friends including Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee and the grinning Cheshire Cat in their adventures. This year's secondary school production has the school spinning, twisting and turning around Alice's surreal world of dreams.
There is ample evidence that we can promote the development of thinking and reasoning in young children in the early years by providing two curriculum components—planning and reflection. Both are thoughtful activities that encourage children to consider what they are doing and what they are learning. They also promote a broad range of other academic, social, and artistic competencies. I would like to talk about the planning component.
During our accreditation visit last week, a very interesting question was asked by the visiting team, ‘What does leadership look like in your school?’ This question made me think about how we encourage our elementary students to be leaders.

Our 70 member strong team of swimmers attended the Dulwich Suzhou Invitational Swim meet on Saturday November 11. The day started with a presentation of new swim caps and the introduction of team stick on 'tattoos' thanks to our hard working swim team parents committee.
