SSIS is located at the center of the Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) on the edge of the ancient historical city of Suzhou. This rapidly expanding park was set up as a joint venture between the governments of the People's Republic of China and Singapore and is one of the leading development parks in China.
The school is an integral part of the park's development providing a high quality education to students from over twenty different countries.
Since 1996, when it opened, SSIS has grown from a small Kindergarten and Primary School to become a K-12 school with over 1,400 students.
SSIS will also provide a free transport service between Landmark Skylight and SSIS on school days. The schedule is as follows:
