During a season subject teachers, particularly for Grades 9 to 12 may choose to provide subject support and tutorials for students to assist them in their studies, homework organization and similar subject specific support.
This is more common in season 3 for the IBDP students as they finish their school career and prepare for their upcoming exams. These support classes generally meet after school from 3:30pm to 5:00pm on different days of the week or at scheduled lunchtimes. SSIS operate a 5:00pm bus service for students to travel home on days when they have activities.
In previous years this has included support for English, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, German and Spanish language, Chemistry, Music, Math and Physics, Geography and History subject as well as computer programming, understanding of Minecraft and computer games design, design support, study skills, grade 12 essay writing skills, College application writing skills, career and personal development. (Please note that activities offered change from season to season and may not always be available.)
