Culture & Language

Secondary students have the opportunity to explore and learn about different cultures as they develop a sense of global awareness and internationalism.

We have representatives from many different cultures in our school community, which we invite to share their experiences with others. These clubs generally meet after school from 3:30pm to 5:00pm on different days of the week and some lunchtimes.

In previous years activities have included Chinese, Korean and Japanese cultural clubs; Chinese and Korean language support clubs; basic Spanish language club; Italian language and cultural club; German cultural club and language support; Chinese fan dancing lessons; Japanese drumming and Latin Salsa dancing club. (Please note that activities offered change from season to season and may not always be available.)
