Humanities (9)

Through the theme of change, students discover how both human ingenuity and natural forces have changed and shaped their world. In semester 1, students will study how the Industrial Revolution changed how we live. Students will also compare and contrast the Communist Revolutions, and study how countries develop and change and the reasons for differences. In semester 2 they study how change in the USA occurred peacefully and the management of freshwater resources. They look at how societies and environments have changed and make judgments on whether or not this change has had a positive or negative impact on them, their community and their world.
