Join us promptly at 9:15 am for the opening of International Family Day 2019 with the colorful spectacle of our annual Parade of Nations where traditional costumes, national anthems, flags and a little healthy rivalry bring our community together for this amazing day of family, fun, food and entertainment!

Join us between 10am and 2pm for more excitement than you can handle! Bring your coupons and come ready to play, win prizes and have fun! You’ll want to be sure to use a few of those coupons to make your best guess at the Elementary Baskets estimation game…put your skills to work and win one of those famous baskets overflowing with fun! In addition, take time to see many of the various performances taking place on our main stage throughout the day and be amazed by the talent and creativity that make up our SSIS Community!

It wouldn’t be International Family Day without all of the delicious food and specialties from around the world! Perhaps an Australian sausage? Or is it the bibimbap from Korea? Don’t rice and noodles provided by Singapore and Malaysia! Bring your appetite and try them all!In addition to 13 food booths representing 15 countries, this year IFD will also include an International Coffee Corner where you can relax for a bit and enjoy the sights and sounds while sipping coffee, tea or lemonade and snacking on sweet treats and salty snacks.

More than 90 high quality vendors will be selling their wares and promoting their businesses and services at International Family Day 2019. Everything from clothing and gifts to homewares and toys, there is certain to be something for you!Many of our vendors will be accepting coupons for payment, thus allowing us to give even more to our designated charities as a result of the success of IFD!

The prizes are big and our raffle is one part of International Family Day you won’t want to miss!Be sure to purchase your tickets and enter your name into the lucky draw for an amazing prize. The more tickets you buy, the greater your chances of winning! Tickets are sold 2 for 50RMB and the draw will take place on the Main Stage at 1:00pm.

The fun of International Family Day does not have to end on May 25th. Visit our Country Baskets display and place your bid in the silent auction to win one or more of our fabulous collections representing the flavors and international flair of the day!Each basket provides an opportunity to continue enjoying IFD and the joy of the SSIS Community at your home. Place your bid and be sure at least one becomes yours!

The only way to enjoy all of the food and fun on International Family Day is to purchase your coupons!Coupons are sold in sheets of 10 for 50RMB.Please note that cash will not be accepted at Food Booths, International Coffee Corner, Games or Elementary Baskets areas.

Parking: You will be able to park in the Aeon Mall carpark however there is a small cost after 2 hours. There will be limited parking available on the streets surrounding the school

Train: Zhong Nan Jie Station, Exit 2, walk south along Zhong Nan Street (5-10 minutes)
