STAFF PROFILES - visual arts specialists

Heidi Messer - Art Specialist

I am a Visual Arts teacher from the Sunshine Coast, Australia with four years experience. I completed an arts and business degree in Graphic Design and Marketing. I have previous experience working as a manager of an Arts store running demonstrations and workshops for a variety of age groups. With a strong desire to become a teacher and move overseas I then went on to complete my Graduate Diploma in Education. My hobbies include painting and playing sports and would like to discover the world of photography further. I am very excited to be joining such a reputable school as SSIS and hope to enjoy many new experiences in my adventures of China!

I am a Junior Class Specialist having taught New Entrants, Year One and Two students for many of those years. I have also taught students from 5 to 12 years of age.
