Glenn James - Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
My name is Glenn James. I grew up and gained my initial education qualifications in Brisbane, Australia. Since leaving Australia, I have worked as a homeroom teacher, ESL teacher and Visual Arts teacher across Asia for the past 13 years. It has been a fascinating journey for me as a learner as well as a teacher. I have worked with the IBPYP framework in different countries over 8 years and am a qualified IBPYP Workshop Leader. While having explored management roles in my career, it is my work with young learners that most inspires me. I am delighted to join the SSIS early years team in 2011 and look forward to the discoveries we will make; the relationships we will build and the joyful learning that lays ahead.

Jennifer Rowe - PKB Teacher
I was born and educated in Australia. My interest in Early Years education began in my first career in Social Welfare where I specialised in child welfare of disadvantaged families. From my experience in this field, I developed a particular interest in the development of children which eventually led me to my current career of Early Childhood teacher . My training in Social Welfare, ESL and Early Childhood teaching has allowed me to travel and work overseas for the past 6 years, 4 of which have been in China. I am an avid supporter and practioner of the Child Initiated Play-based Learning, which I am ecstatic to see implemented at SSIS.
