Cathy Huang - Elementary Chinese teacher

I studied Education at Dongwu Foreign Language Normal School, before doing  an undergraduate course at Nanjing Normal University where I received my BA degree in English Language Teaching.My original experience as a Chinese teacher was in Nanjing International School (2004-2006).  Before that I had some teaching practices in Nanjing Qing Liang Shan Primary School and No. 3 Professional Senior School. Then I moved to Suzhou and went on teaching Chinese in SSIS in 2006.In the last 5 years as a Chinese teacher, I have taught CS, CAL level 1, CAL level 2, CAL level 3 and CAL level 4.

Chen Jie - Elementary Chinese teacher

After graduated from Liao Ning Normal University in 1988, I taught in a local primary school for 14 years. I  joined  SSIS in 2003. I have taught all the Chinese levels in Elementary. I currently teach G1, G2, G3 and G5 Mainstream Chinese.

Cici Sun - Elementary Chinese teacher

I studied Primary School Education at Jiangsu Xinsu Teachers School, and later studied Chinese Language and Literature at Suzhou University. I received my BA degree from Suzhou University. I also received my Standard Mandarin Certificate and Office Automation Certificate in school.  I received my Teacher Qualification Certificate in 2002. My original experience as a Chinese teacher was in a local school for two years (2002-2004).  I joined SSIS in 2004. In the last 5 years as a Chinese teacher here, I have taught mainstream classes and CAL classes.

Doris Hu - Elementary Chinese teacher

I graduated from NanJing Normal University achieving my teaching qualification, and the Qualification Certificate for teaching in secondary schools. Some of my education theses were awarded the first prize of China. I obtained an honorary title from the local education bureau. I have been engaged in education for many years during which I have been working with an education research class and as an announcer in the SuZhou radio station. I've been an external musical instrument teacher in a student professional education training center that is under the jurisdiction of local education bureau and am currently working in their eloquence traing centre. I have taught Chinese and Music at SSIS since 2004. I currently teach Chinese for G5, G3, G1, CAL Level 1 and GD Beginner.

Li Li - Elementary Chinese teacher

I studied Chinese Literature at Suzhou Tele. College, before I achieved the music teaching post graduate degree in Nanjing Normal University. In Suzhou University, I completed the Masters courses in Chinese Teaching. Before I joined SSIS, I taught Music and Chinese in a local school and in Suzhou International Foreign Language School. I was also responsible to the School Young Pioneers workshops as the coordinator. I have worked at SSIS since its beginning. In the past years, I have taught Music and Chinese in Primary department. I am teaching CS2 for G2, G4, G5, and Chinese A for G3 this school year.

Li Meng Yuan - Elementary Chinese teacher

After graduating from Suzhou Educational College in 1995, I taught in the Suzhou Experimental Primary School for seven years. I joined SSIS in 2002. In the last seven years here, I have been teaching all the Chinese levels in the Elementary school. I currently teach grade 1,2,3,4 mainstream Chinese.

Megan Lin - Elementary Chinese teacher

When studying English literature in Yang Zhou University, I took the Educational Psychology courses, and received my Teacher Certificate.My teaching career started as an English teacher in a local school in 2004. Now I have been teaching Chinese at SSIS for 3 years. This semester I am mainly teaching CS1&2 classes.

Tang Ying - Elementary Chinese teacher

I studied Primary School Education at Jiangsu Xinsu Teachers School, and later studied Chinese Language and Literature in Beijing  Normal University. In the last  13 years as a Chinese teacher, I have taught mainstream classes A,B and CAL level 1, level2, level3.

Yan Li Ye (Lisa) - Elementary Chinese teacher

I studied Chinese language in Nan Jing Xiao Zhuang University, then got a BA degree in Chinese language. I have received the following qualifications: Teacher Certificate, College English Test Band 6 Certificate, Standard Mandarin Certificate and Office Automation Certificate. As a Chinese teacher, I have worked in Su Zhou Blue Tassel School for two years.   During that period I taught all elementary foreign students Chinese.  Before that, I also had some teaching experience in Nanjing No.5 Primary School. I joined SSIS since 2006. In the last three years at SSIS, I have taught Mainstream A, CAL Level 1, CAL Level 2, CAL Level 3 and CAL Level 4 courses.

Zhou Ting - Elementary Chinese teacher

I received my professional training through Suzhou University where my major was Chinese . From 1995-2007 I was a Chinese teacher at the Suzhou International Foreign Language School. I joined SSIS in 2007.
