The PVO is an all-parent group.
The general monthly meetings are run by a Chairperson and Secretary (which can be the same person). Highlights of the minutes of the meetings are posted in the weekly school newsletter that is distributed on the Friday following the meeting.
Elementary, Middle, and High School division meetings with staff are usually organized by a division head or other staff member and can meet monthly, weekly, or as often as needed. It is also beneficial to assign one or two parents to be “division” parents to further publicize or communicate details of meetings. Minutes are taken and posted if necessary.
Individual committees meetings meet more or less often as needed. A Chairperson and Secretary (which can be the same person) run the meetings. Minutes are taken and posted to staff and parents. Some committees, such as the IFD Committee are quite large and have several sub-committees which may meet independently and report to the IFD Chairperson.
