To accommodate the increasing growth at SSIS, a new state-of-the-art campus was built. SSIS opened its new doors for the 2005-2006 academic school year. Facilities include a 25-metre swimming pool, softball and soccer fields, tennis courts, a 400-metre running track, two libraries and two double gymnasiums. SSIS has the most up-to-date technology and

computer facilities, including eight computer labs and wireless internet throughout the school. There are numerous specialty rooms including eight science labs, four art rooms, four music rooms, ten practice rooms, a 650 seat performing art center, and a black box theater.

There are two spacious libraries, one for Secondary and one for Early Years and Primary. In addition to making use of the extensive collections of books, students can also make use of data bases and the Internet for research in the library.

Other facilities include a softball diamond and basketball and tennis courts. SSIS competes in competitions with other international schools in tournaments throughout the year. SSIS has a thriving music program which includes choirs, band, and individual instrumental work in conjunction with a classroom music program throughout the school.
